Right now I am listening to the new Nora Jones album " ...Featuring"! It doesn't come out until November 16th but I was able to get a copy early! The tracks span Nora's entire career and feature a lot of great duets that show her versatility from jazz, to country, hip-hop to rock! Stay tuned for a full review in the next few days!
I also am going to be doing a review of Booty Shapers! No these aren't for your back side - they are for your tall boots! They are supposed to help keep your boots crease and fold free while you are not wearing them!
Things have been a little crazy around here lately. Tony is still out on workers comp. and is having shoulder surgery tomorrow. His surgeon is actually the team surgeon for the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres! I feel better knowing he is in good hands but I know I am going to be a nervous wreck while he is in there! I am going to bring my ipad and hopefully I will be able to pick up a wifi connection - if not, at least I can play games and listen to music. Once we get the shoulder taken care of he will start getting injections in his back. He has multiple bulging/degenerating discs according to the latest paperwork. The poor cats are going to be so devastated when he finally goes back to work - they are so used to him being home and cuddling with him!
My parents also came up the week before Halloween. My dad ended up getting sick again but at least no ambulance or hospital stay was required this time (you can read about last time here). When he got home he went to his regular doctor who told him he has pneumonia - again. My mom ended getting sick they day after they got home with more Kidney Stones. When she came up she had two "clusters" of stones they were hoping would break up and be small enough for her to pass. By the time she got home she had two more stones - 10mm and an 8mm. Those are too big to pass so she has to have them blasted. Since she has tried every diet they tell her to do, and her stones are caused by different things each time, they can only conclude that it is the sarcoidosis for sure causing it.
